APPOINTMENTS

It’s easy to get caught up in the holidays and forget that we need to take some time for ourselves. It’s okay if you don’t have every detail of Christmas planned out yet. Go ahead and take some time to relax in South Charlotte.

Take a break from big department stores and spend an afternoon shopping in Ballantyne. First grab a bite to eat at Bad Daddy’s Burger Bar at Ballantyne Commons East. Then browse the gourmet oils and spices at The Olive Tap. Head across the street to Ballantyne Village where you’ll find the 3H (Homemade, Homegrown, Handmade) Shoppes. You’re sure to come across a unique gift here. The Cheeky Bean is a boutique featuring contemporary clothing and accessories. If you love hunting for bargains, head down Highway 521 South a few miles and you’ll find  Goodwill. This location is always crowded because people drop off a lot of high-end items; you never know what you’ll find. Once you’ve worked up your appetite again, go back to Ballantyne Village and dine at Jade Asian Fusion and Sushi Bar before watching a film at the Regal Theater.

If you’d rather get some fresh air in the great outdoors, take I-85 South to exit 13 and follow signs to Crowders Mountain. Make sure you pick up sandwiches on the way. McAlister’s Deli is a popular choice and there are 11 locations in Charlotte. Once you get to the mountain, choose from one of 11 trails ranging from easy to strenuous. The view at the top is amazing! During this time of year the weather is still warm enough to enjoy; wear layers so you stay comfortable. Don’t forget to take your camera and water.

After all of the shopping and hiking, your muscles need a soothing massage. Contact us to schedule our Signature Massage or Hot Stone Massage. While you’re here, pick up a gift certificate for those friends and family members who also deserve some relaxation for Christmas.
